
During these last 27 years, South Texas College has seen much unprecedented growth and change, more than what was imagined when the college started in 1993. With 127 degree and certificate programs, five baccalaureate degree options, and one of the largest dual enrollment degree programs, South Texas College looks forward to leading the educational pathway with opportunities in the years to come.
While 2020 presented unparalleled challenges, overcoming the obstacles it presented took bold planning, creative ideas, committed partnerships, a supportive Board of Trustees, and an unwavering commitment to impact the lives of those we serve in our communities. For South Texas College, it meant remaining steadfast, using our innovation, and developing educational opportunities for Hidalgo and Starr County residents as we continue to transform the quality of life for our students and their families.
