The coming Twenties are going to be landmark years shaped by the successes of first-generation college students from the Rio Grande Valley. These graduates, proud South Texas College Jaguars, are now making their mark in technology, health care, education, business, manufacturing and many other fields throughout the region. South Texas College graduates are helping lead the economic development and prosperity of the Rio Grande Valley.
I am proud to say that 70 percent of our students are the first in their families to go to college, and by taking this important first step, they are paving the way for a meaningful career. South Texas College is ready to help you begin your college journey toward graduation and your place among the tens of thousands of exceptional Jaguars over the college’s 25-year history who have gone on to successful careers.
